" Let's build a city we can all be
proud of "
Alan Rubio
Candidate to Everett Council seat #4
Why am I running?

I'm running for Everett City Council because I care deeply about our loved ones — our children, our elders, and every neighbour who calls this city home.
We all want to live in a place where families feel safe, where kids can grow up with confidence, and where our elders are treated with dignity. A city where you can plan a future, not just get by.
I’m stepping up to help make Everett that kind of place — safe, welcoming, and full of promise for every generation.
What can you do to make your city a better place?

Join us in enhancing our city through initiatives like Adopt a Drain, Adopt a Highway, and Adopt a Street. By participating, you'll not only beautify our community but also receive a recognition sign that showcases your contributions. Be the change you want to see around you, help us create a brighter, cleaner future for everyone!
My Pledges to Everett & District 4
1. Protect the elder communities: Everett's seniors built this city—now it's our turn to protect them. I will fight to preserve our 55+ communities, keeping them affordable, peaceful, and reserved for elders.
2. I'll donate my salary to local nonprofits: Serving should come from the heart, not a paycheck. I will donate my entire council salary to local nonprofits. Each month, a different organization will receive this small but meaningful boost to continue their vital work.
3. Ensure transparency & accessibility: You deserve to know what's happening in your city. I will keep the public informed, maintain an open-door policy, and make it easy for everyone to reach me, no matter their schedule.
4. Support public safety: I will support our police and first responders, prioritize accountability for repeat offenders, and work to reduce crime in our most neglected areas because everyone deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood.
5. Make housing more affordable: We need to cut red tape and allow for more housing choices. I'll push for zoning flexibility and faster permitting to help working families and first-time buyers afford to live here.
